Paper Shredding

All are welcome; no residency requirement.

Paper shredding will take place at New Bedford High School, 230 Hathaway Blvd. on the bus path that is just north of the school, and south of the solar panels and Hetland Arena parking lot. Enter from Hathaway Blvd. and exit on Liberty St. This map shows the event entrance.

NBCU is generously covering the paper shredding cost at this event. Individuals may bring up to two boxes of paper. Each box should weigh no more than 30 pounds. The TWO BOX LIMIT per person will help the event serve as many people as possible.

Examples of papers you may want to shred include bank statements, medical forms, or retired tax forms. Paper clips and staples do not need to be removed, but please remove paper from folders and binders. Intact paper only; already shredded paper is not accepted.

Participants will take their boxes with them as they leave the event.

Paper Shredding Days are sponsored by NBCU and held in partnership with the Greater New Bedford Regional Refuse Management District, City of New Bedford, Town of Dartmouth, and Shred-it.
